200g / 7 oz pasta shapes
2 tbsp olive oil
225g / 8 oz canned tuna in olive oil, drained
1 tbsp capers, drained
2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs, such as parsley, plus sprigs for garnishing
salt and pepper
bread, for serving (optional)
Method:
Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil. Add the pasta, return to a boil, and cook for 10-12
minutes, or until al dente. Drain and toss in the oil. Let it cool, then season with salt and
pepper to taste.
Flake the tuna and mix in to the cooled pasta. Stir in the capers and herbs and check the
seasoning. Cover and chill until needed. Serve with bread, if liked.
