1 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 apple, cored and sliced
1 slice fruit bread
maple syrup, to serve
Method:
Melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat and stir in the cinnamon. Add the apple and stir
well to coat.
Preheat the grill and line the grill pan with foil. Spread the buttered apple over the grill
pan. Cook under the grill until the apple is just beginning to brown. Toast the fruit bread and
serve with the apple piled on top, drizzled with a little maple syrup.
